Trade goods are sources of Trade Value and other bonuses. Every province in the game produces one or more types of Trade Goods. Building up the production of Trade Goods in your empire is one of the best ways to improve your economy.
There are four different kinds of Trade Goods in M&T: Rural, Urban, Mined and Special. Rural trade goods are shown as the large icons located at the bottom of the province view. The other Trade Goods can be found in the row of icons in the middle of the province view where they can be distinguished by their colour (white, blue or purple for Urban, grey or yellow for Mined and brown for Special Trade Goods).
Rural Trade Goods
Rural Trade Goods are produced by Rural Pops (see Production for details). Every province has a Rural Trade Good. Some kinds are exported as food to the Continental Food Pool (see Food for details).
